Scissor me timbers! Sapphic Sailors Kristy “Capstanfield” (vocals and accordion) and Elyse “Fishpatrick” (vocals and whale facts) have been rocking boats the country wide since 2021 with their sea shanties, SHE shanties and sea songs with a modern, queer twist. Together with their bellowing squeezebox ‘Moni’, The Salty Sirens weave tales of daring adventure, defiance and debauchery on the high seas. Hoist the anchor and limber up those sealegs – these shore aren’t your grandpa’s sea shanties!
