Sexy, Sad & A Little F*ing Mad is a blues-soaked live show from Love, JAK – featuring Jo Macdonald (Fearless Singer), Anne Pensalfini (Dragspeare) and Kylie Stephenson (What’s New Jazzy Cat?!) – reimagining iconic songs through smoky harmonies, raw storytelling, and unapologetic feminine energy.

Blending blues, country, rock, and unexpected twists of jazz and grit, Love, JAK takes audiences through the songs that shaped us: the anthems we screamed in cars, cried to in kitchens, seduced people with badly, and rebuilt ourselves around.

Expect haunting takes on classics like Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain, a gypsy-jazz inspired Running Up That Hill, the aching beauty of Wicked Game, fiery Adele hits, country heartbreakers, dark femme energy, and the occasional musical left hook.

Backed by an all-star live band featuring Dave McGuire (guitar), Peta Leigh Wilson (keys), McCoy Harvey (bass), and Katie Randall (drums), the show leans into a rich, rootsy sound full of groove, atmosphere, and powerhouse vocals.

At its core, Sexy, Sad & A Little F*ing Mad is about women who’ve lived a little, lost a little, laughed through the damage, and kept singing anyway.
