Trans Life Drawing and Poetry is a fortnightly event hosted by Drew Thompson (They/Them) and Cole Forth (Any pronouns)
at The Cave Inn, Woolloongabba.
Life drawing is held upstairs from 6-7, and Poetry downstairs from 7:30-8:30. There is more information on each event below.
LOCATION DETAILS- The Cave Inn is a local bar in the Gabba that serves craft beer and handmade pizzas. The bar floor is accessible with any mobility aids as well as being dog friendly, however the bathrooms and upstairs rooms where we hold life drawing are located up a flight of stairs and not accessible to some mobility aids.
LIFE DRAWING 6-7pm
Please bring your own art supplies. There is no entry fee.
RULES:
-Door stays closed between poses. Latecomers will be asked to wait in the bar for up to 10 minutes.
-Phones on silent and left by the door. We ask this out of respect for the model and the event.
-do not cross past the front tables into the models space.
-This is a SAFE SPACE for everyone. Please ask and respect pronouns and identities.
-Please go to your hosts Drew or Cole with any questions or concerns.

As well as poetry readings from various artists, we hold a 5 minute ‘speed poetry’ game for those interested.
