New Wave Matinée – Fancy Boys + Phenomena + Precious Rest

The night time is no longer the right time! Discerning youths and astute aesthetes the world over are rejecting the overrated evening hours and instead focusing their artistic and intellectual endeavours on a new time of day altogether – the afternoon!

No longer is the afternoon a time for tedious chores and mindnumbing television. The hours between noon and dusk are now when the sophisticated set choose to party down!

To better exalt the afternoon hours, three of South East Queensland’s most esteemed underground ensembles – lurid three-chord renaissance men les Fancy Boys, enigmatic noisepunk soothsayers Phenomena, and upstart hardcore roomshakers Precious Rest – will team up for the next instalment of New Wave Matinée on Saturday December 13 at Woollongabba’s already-iconic Cave Inn.

Tickets only $15 for adults or $10 for under-18’s – who must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian – or more on the door. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds, so if you are unable to afford this please get in touch with the bands via the usual channels or simply show up on the day.
